Swiis are looking to recruit a Resource Worker to join our Permanent fostering team based in Dunfermline. The post is varied and involves working with social workers, therapists and education workers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The role involves providing flexible and comprehensive support to children and young people who are fostered, foster carers and their families, using a variety of needs led interventions and approaches e.g. group-work and 1:1 issue based programmes to achieve the best possible outcomes. Other key responsibilities include keeping appropriate records, representing Swiis at meetings, being involved in carer recruitment activities and taking part in the office duty system.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the issues experienced by children who are looked after and direct experience of working with young people/adults in a variety of settings using a variety of innovative interventions and programmes to meet identified needs.
This post is based in the Swiis office in Dunfermline, however extensive travel will be required therefore the post-holder must have a clean driving licence and the use of a car.
