Long-term placements
We can provide skilled staff across all health and social care disciplines and we make sure that all our candidates are properly trained in relevant fields. If necessary, we will provide additional, service specific training.

We can arrange for temporary staff to become permanent and, subject to agreement by all parties, we can transfer employment status directly to the client.

Temporary to permanent
Many clients and candidates welcome the chance to trial each other before deciding whether to make the appointment permanent. Our temporary to permanent staffing option allows this to happen with full support and training tailored to the individual requirements of the client.

Fixed term contracts
We have substantive experience of sourcing and providing support with ‘same named’ personnel within fixed term contract arrangements. This may be in respect of specialist nursing support within the NHS or may be in relation to a social work management position within a local authority.  The positions often cover maternity leave, posts which are in deliberation, or those services which require additional resource due to a temporary increase in, or unplanned, activity.

Graduate trainee programme
Many of our clients believe it is important to retain and improve the overall motivation and skills of their employees by recruiting people who are new to the industry but may come with transferable skills or work experiences that can benefit their services.

We offer a graduate trainee programme which encourages graduates to apply to work in an area they are interested in but that they have little or no experience of.

Examples include:

  • The introduction and support of Newly Registered/Qualified Social Workers into statutory children’s services teams.
  • The introduction and support of Newly Registered Nurses to undertake and complete the perceptorship programme.

All these programmes are client led. If preferred, we will be directed by the client in terms of the selection criteria and guidelines for recruiting.

We can offer additional support to our clients in the preparation, induction and training of all successful candidates by undertaking profiles of all applicants, first stage interviews, second stage joint interviews, induction and a range of training programmes, prior to start date and on-going throughout the graduate’s first year.

We also offer a temporary to permanent recruitment option if desired, so that both the client and candidate can trial the position without risk.
