Student opportunities with Swiis

18 June 2014

We’ve been visiting University fairs in the South East to inform students of the many roles available to them with Swiis Health and Social Care.

We have hundreds of opportunities available for students wishing to consolidate existing work experience before completing their degree and stepping out into the wider world. We can also offer work to new graduates, provided they have gained the relevant work experience through placements during their time at University.

If you are working towards a social work degree for example, you could qualify for one of our Support Worker roles; if you’re a Nursing student, our ward based Healthcare Assistant positions are excellent opportunities for you to gain invaluable, relevant experience.

We have attended fairs at Surrey, Brunel and Wolverhampton Universities and have been impressed with their students’ enthusiasm and dedication to getting their careers in the Health and Social Care sector started.

If you’re interested in hearing about how you could develop the skills you need with one of the UK’s leading Health and Social Care providers, give us a call on 0333 577 1000, or register at http://www.swiishealthandsocialcare.co.uk/registration.

Great news for Swiis Health and Social Care!

15 April 2014

Swiis are pleased to announce that we have received excellent results in our most recent audit of the Health and Social Care service! The independent audit was conducted by Neuven Solutions and is something that takes place on an annual basis, as part of on-going criteria put in place by the Health Trust Europe Agency Nursing framework.

The purpose of the audit is to ensure compliance with the framework in terms of safely recruiting temporary workers to work in the NHS.  Swiis has successfully supplied the Birmingham NHS Cluster Trusts with high-quality temporary staff since the commencement of the framework.

Swiis is delighted with the results: we scored 99.05% and achieved Platinum status- the highest standard a supplier can achieve!

Paul Jamieson, Head of Operational Services, stated: “The external auditor was very impressed with the compliance of our workforce, and our approach to the audit.  At Swiis, we pride ourselves on providing highly skilled and compliant temporary Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. This recent audit helps verify our ongoing commitment to safeguarding vulnerable people.”

You can find out more about the framework here, and about Neuven Solutions here.
