Administration Assistant | Gerrards Cross

£22,000 to £24,000 per annum

Swiis are currently recruiting experienced Admin Assistants to work as an integral part of our health and social care team based in Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire. The role will involve being part of a larger bookings team responsible for the management and placement of temporary workers into various settings primarily within the NHS.

The ideal candidate will have previous health and social care recruitment experience preferably in making and dealing with temporary staff booking requests, possess an excellent telephone manner and have the capability to use initiative and work under pressure covering day-to-day recruitment tasks, handling emergency calls quickly and efficiently to enable the smooth running of the business out of hours.

The role is full time, permanent Monday to Friday with office hours covering 07:00 – 21:00 (AM and PM shifts) and will involve covering one weekend in four.

Essential; 

  • You MUST have substantial experience of working in an administrative role within in a busy office environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Excellent IT and word processing skills.
  • Some knowledge of the health and social care sector.

Desirable;

  • Knowledge of the health and social care sector
  • Experience of staffing co-ordination/booking management is particularly desirable.

Key Duties;

  • Responding to emergencies by telephone.
  • Shift scheduling and bookings management.
  • Ensuring compliance of temporary workers.
  • General administration.
  • Representing Swiis professionally to clients and temporary workers at all times
