Team Manager | Edgbaston

Swiis are looking to recruit a Fostering Team Manager to manage a child focused fostering service in the Midlands with an Edgbaston office base. The role is full time, permanent earning up to £50,000 per annum.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers who are supported by Family Support Workers, Resource Workers and an Education Advisor. Ideally you would have some previous experience in fostering but as a minimum you should have a proven track record of working in safeguarding children and young people/child protection, with a focus on excellent outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements

  • CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
  • 5 years post qualifying experience in working with children and families’ services
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
  • Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
