HR Advisor

Swiis require an experienced HR Advisor to work as an integral part of a small supportive HR Team based in London.

The post-holder will work alongside one other existing HR Advisor and share responsibility of the day to day administration for the Human Resources Department, while also assisting the Director of Human Resources to ensure the HR Department provides a high-quality, professional service for the Swiis Group.

As the HR Advisor you will;

  • Manage the new employee and leaver process
  • Send out offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Track and chase paperwork such as references and liaise with the payroll function
  • Prepare routine correspondence and letters, eg; confirming promotions, salary and contract changes, maternity, paternity etc, within appropriate timescales
  • Be responsible for accurate and up to date documentation and records for all absences and complete correspondence and reports as required
  • Share responsibility for maintaining Swiis Benefits Schemes: Pension, Healthcare, Childcare Vouchers and Eyecare Vouchers.

The role is full time, permanent, with office hours covering 08:30 - 17:00; however, flexibility with working hours will on occasion be required.

Essential requirements

  • CIPD qualified (or working towards qualification)
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Have at least three to five year's HR administration/HR Advisory experience
  • Excellent IT skills and good presentation
  • Be a confident communicator who is non-judgemental, diplomatic, confidential and discreet
  • Be able to write own correspondence
  • Good presentation and IT skills
  • Be highly organised with a positive, can do attitude
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the team
  • To at all times, represent Swiis professionally to both clients and workers


  • Knowledge and experience of Pensions and Benefit schemes
  • Sage payroll experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of PeopleHR
