As a renowned provider of quality health and social care services, working with some of the most challenging sector groups within the health and social care industry, Swiis has a responsibility and a mandatory requirement to ensure that all its candidates are properly trained to give a high quality, safe service to our clients and their service users.

In response to demand, we have developed a range of our own training courses and 1 day combination training packages. These courses meet legislation requirements as well as the changing expectations of the industries in which we work. They are offered to all of our candidates free of charge.

The scheme was so successful with candidates that we now offer our training services to clients.  We have a full range of day and combined course training options available to our clients, which covers the full breadth of the health and social care sectors relevant to our service provision. We further provide a substantial discount to all ‘active’ clients of Swiis.

Office locations

Training can either be provided within Swiis offices or in house at our clients premises. Our training services are facilitated by our in-house team via freelance training consultants who deliver courses both to our candidates and clients. With regional offices across the UK as far apart as London in the south and Glasgow in Scotland in the North, there is sure to be a convenient Swiis training location for you.

Freelance trainers
All of our freelance training professionals hold the appropriate qualifications, evidenced experience and training related references to deliver the training as required for our workforce nationally. We also have a ‘lead’ trainer who develops all course content and who advises us on changing requirements across each industry sector relevant to our business and our training programmes.

Course delivery
Course delivery involves practical, theory, Webinars and e-learning, all of which are structured in different combinations depending on course content, length of learning time available, learner type, client’s industry, locations, size of the group and any other factors which may determine the success of the training.

The training is designed and developed in line with CQC and National Minimum Standards and is often further tailored to meet the individual needs of each specific client group.

All training courses hold a mandatory competency assessment, which is structured and robust in terms of the expected outcomes.  Any candidate who does not pass the competency assessment is given an opportunity to retake the training.

All courses can be tailored to individual requirements and offer a range of flexible cost effective training options for either individual bookings or for a collective number of employees within the same organisation.

Training sectors
The trainers we utilise are able to provide a broad range of courses across all health and social care sector areas incorporating residential, hospital or community sectors and cover elderly, dementia, palliative care, learning disability, mental health, and drug and alcohol. We further provide a range of training courses associated with working with children.
